Tips for working with 2×6 scraps
- Leftover decking is often pressure-treated. Keep it outdoors and away from edible plants.
- A 2×6 rips into a 2×4 and a 2×2 if you have a circular or table saw.
- Use exterior screws for anything that stays outside.
