How to build it
- Cut the block to 12″ and mark three centers 4″ apart along the middle of one face.
- Drill each pocket ⅝″ deep with a 1½″ Forstner bit, clamping the block down.
- Chamfer or round every edge and sand the faces smooth.
- Stain or char the wood if you like, then seal it.
- Use tea lights in their metal cups only, and never leave them burning unattended.
